Hello, I'm Bianka, Senior Team Leader at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll. I handle both temporary and permanent recruitment in the Greater Montreal area. Mission Under the supervision of the Financial Controller, the Financial Analyst contributes to the production of reliable, relevant, and compliant financial and accounting information while ensuring the efficiency of existing processes. The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for ensuring the accurate valuation of inventories and monitoring associated costs. They ensure compliance with the internal control framework to guarantee the reliability of financial information. The Financial Analyst also participates in the development and implementation of enhancements to financial systems, with the objective of optimizing processes and supporting the organization's financial performance. • Perform monthly inventory valuation. • Establish and maintain product unit costs/prices. • Analyze inventory variances and provide recommendations to improve the efficiency of inventory management processes. • Establish and analyze standard costs versus actual costs. • Monitor and support physical inventory counts and reconciliations. • Perform various account reconciliations and analyses at month-end. • Participate in the optimization of business processes and the enhancement of financial systems to improve the organization's financial performance.



• Contribute to the improvement of internal controls to ensure alignment with management’s expectations. • Collaborate with external auditors during audit processes. • Work closely with various departments across the organization (e.g., Procurement, Production, Estimating). • Participate in various projects and ad hoc requests to support business needs. • Perform other related duties as required. Your profile Qualifications and Required Competencies Education / Experience / Certification • CPA designation (asset). • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge • Strong knowledge of product costing and cost accounting principles. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Experience with Quasimodo and Microsoft Dynamics NAV is considered an asset. • Excellent command of French, both written and spoken. • Functional proficiency in English.
