About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Emergency Health Services. The successful candidate will be a key advisor on EHS issues, leading a branch that encompasses ground and air ambulance services, EHS communications and dispatch, and the licensing, investigations, and compliance of ambulance operators. This role requires a strategic leader who can ensure the delivery of secure, high-quality, and sustainable emergency health services to the public. The Executive Director will be responsible for policy development, planning, and operational oversight, and must be adept at working with a wide range of stakeholders, including government bodies,



health care professionals, and regulatory organizations.

Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a Master’s in health administration or health sciences, and a background in senior management within healthcare, emergency health services, or public administration. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in strategic policy and planning, operational management, and a strong understanding of government decision-making and policy development. The ideal candidate will be a practiced relationship builder, capable of engaging stakeholders and inspiring change-agile teams. Experience within government, paramedic experience, and EHS management experience are also preferred. The focus of the role is on continuous improvement, innovation, and modernization to meet the evolving needs of the community.
