Role Overview

The Slicer & Packer plays a vital role in our daily operations by slicing bread, packing fresh baked goods, and ensuring every product meets our presentation and food safety standards. Working in a fast-paced workplace, this position involves operating slicing machinery, handling inventory across ambient and cold storage facilities, and preparing orders for distribution.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently operate bread slicing machinery.
- Slice, wrap, seal, and label artisanal breads and pastries in compliance with Food & Safety Standards.
- Retrieve, store, and package frozen goods within cold storage and freezer areas.
- Inspect finished goods to guarantee visual quality, freshness, and proper packaging seals.
- Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized work stations throughout the slicing and packaging zones.
- Support stock rotation and inventory tracking as required.
- Adhere strictly to company health, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

- Strong attention to detail with high quality standards.




- Physical capability to stand for long periods and comfortably lift up to 18 kg.
- Willingness to work in cold storage and freezer environments (protective thermal gear is provided).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment both independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, mid-day, closings, weekends, and holidays.
- Solid communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic competency with hand tools is considered an asset.
