Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides support to the Food Services department including verifying diet orders, supplements, and snacks, updating resident food requirements, conducting inventory, etc.Assists in checking, and data enters recipes in relation to the therapeutic needs for menus.Audits diet databases in comparison with resident documentation.Assists with measuring Dietary Reference Intake for different menus.Assists with meal preparation and service.Assists with inventory management.Administrative support including data entry, Chinese word-processing.Contract Length8 weeksHours of Work35 hours per weekRate$17.60/hourQualificationsMust be between the ages of 15-30 years of age at the start of the job.Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally able to work in Ontario.Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of employment and legally entitled to work in Canada.Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.Demonstrated initiative.Positive knowledge of MS Office applications.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Ability to work remotely as required.Previous experience working with the elderly population an asset.Good oral and written communication skills in English.Knowledge of Chinese,
