Senior Product Owner HealthWATCH, Brampton or North York, ONA key area of focus includes new features and functionality within the HealthWATCH Pharmacy Management System to support user-requested enhancements, new regulatory requirements and achievement of business benefits. These enhancements will be driven by stakeholders across Loblaw (LCL) and Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM), including end-users within stores. This person will be empowered to work with various stakeholders (Business, Technology) to shape opportunities into small, deliverable units of value in line with product priorities; actively manages his / her product backlog and ensures validation of user/customer feedback, making sure the team successfully delivers business value.What You'll DoOwn the user experience and day‐to‐day product decisions for assigned HealthWATCH capabilities.Act as the primary point of contact between the delivery team and business stakeholders for defined feature areas.Work with stakeholders across Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart to capture requirements and translate them into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Manage and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring stories are well‐defined, prioritized, and ready for development.Participate in value estimation and prioritization discussions to support sprint and release planning.Make timely decisions on scope, trade‐offs, and requirements within the boundaries of agreed priorities.Collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Developers, and Quality Assurance partners throughout sprint planning and delivery.Validate delivered functionality through user feedback and ensure outcomes align with expected business value.Support sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews)
and contribute to continuous improvement practices.What You'll Bring4–6 years of experience in product ownership or product management within a software development environment.Working knowledge of pharmacy operations and an understanding of regulatory and workflow considerations impacting pharmacy systems.Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and the software development lifecycle.Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing a product backlog.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on near‐term delivery commitments.Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‐functional teams.Solid analytical and problem‐solving skills to assess trade‐offs and make practical decisions.Proficiency with Confluence, Jira, Miro and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) is an asset.Comfortable working independently on complex initiatives with guidance from Product Management leadership.Experience supporting software releases from requirements through deployment and post‐launch validation.What Loblaw Offers YouWe offer flexibility and balance, and an environment that sets you up for success no matter where your workspace is located.
