Hybrid work workplace.Role OverviewResponsible for creating AutoCAD drawings, assisting with development of associated documents, and providing design input for various control systems across multiple product lines. Perform factory assessment tests in shop before panel delivery and conduct site commissioning and troubleshooting.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop electrical drawings and documentation with the Electrical Controls group and Mechanical Designers.Coordinate with other electrical designers and assist in design and development of control systems for larger projects.Source new and improved components to keep equipment current.Maintain all aspects of control equipment to conform to customer specifications.Follow internal engineering procedures, including working in Vault.Program PLC/HMI devices.QualificationsElectrical Controls Technologist, Technician or Engineer, or CO‑OP student with equivalent experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to make drawing decisions with the Electrical Controls System Supervisor.Experience in PLC/HMI programming.Strong interfacing skills with Electrical Designers and contract designers/integrators.Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.Compensation$45.00 – $60.00 hourly.
