Reporting directly to the Facility & Grounds Supervisor, this Custodian role emphasizes maintaining the WDM's clean and safe workplace. You will perform routine custodial services across public areas, museum galleries, and rental spaces while documenting daily maintenance and handling urgent situations as needed. Your work will help preserve the integrity of the collection and support the museum's overall mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cleaning duties in all museum areas
• Ensure exhibit safety during cleaning tasks




• Document maintenance activities and safety issues
• Handle urgent clean-up situations promptly
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and requests
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Relevant experience in janitorial services
• Experience in museum or gallery settings preferred
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
