Shifts are versatile and may be scheduled in 4‐, 8‐, or 12‐hour blocks, based on individual availability and service needs.Job SummaryThe Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the Community Walk‐In/Urgent Care Clinic works within the NP scope of practice in the following category of practice: Family/All Ages. This is an advanced practice role providing professional, analytical and comprehensive health services to clients/families including, but not limited to, health assessments and diagnoses of diseases, disorders, injuries and conditions; treating and managing acute and chronic illnesses and identifying health risks and needs within a holistic, episodic care model.The NP works independently in an Urgent Care environment, conducting rapid assessment and diagnosis on a walk‐in basis, which necessitates individual follow‐up at times.



This is supported by scheduled, weekly administrative time in order to review results and provide additional client care and necessary follow‐up via in‐person, telephone or virtual visits.
