Location: Johnstown, Ontario

Status: Existing Vacancy

Project Engineer

to join our Technical Services team in Johnstown, Ontario. In this role, you'll lead and support capital projects that improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and operational performance across our manufacturing facility.

From developing project scopes and business cases to managing installation and commissioning, you'll have the opportunity to see your ideas come to life while working closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams.

What You'll Do

Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning

Develop project scopes, technical specifications, budgets, and schedules

Support process improvements that enhance safety,



reliability, and efficiency

Collaborate with operations, maintenance, contractors, and vendors to deliver successful project outcomes

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for plant operations

Support automation and process control systems, including DCS, PLC, and BMS platforms

Contribute to long-term capital planning and engineering studies

Maintain engineering documentation, standards, and drawings

Ensure projects meet Greenfield's safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

P.Eng. designation with Professional Engineers Ontario

Experience managing or supporting industrial engineering and capital projects

Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or industrial environment

PMP certification

Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software

Experience with process simulation software such as CHEMCAD

Total Compensation & Care

Competitive salary:

$115,000 - $130,000
