Job DescriptionAkelius is seeking a General Maintenance Technician for a portfolio of multi‑family communities. This is a new position with shift hours from 5:00 pm – 1:00 am. Reporting to an experienced property manager, the General Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all minor and major repairs of property equipment, including preventative and scheduled maintenance and responding to emergency requests. The Maintenance Technician will be a dependable individual with solid experience in all aspects of apartment maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and apartment turnover work. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and time management skills.General DutiesRespond to any plumbing, electrical, and appliance emergencies within the Toronto portfolioEvaluate the need for third‑party contractors if neededComplete daily repair and upkeep tasks of the properties as assignedRespond to and complete residential maintenance requestsPrepare vacant apartments through turnover repairs and improvementsClean and maintain grounds, including common areasRemove snow near property entrance, sidewalks, and parking areasMaintain inventory, care, and maintenance of all supplies and equipmentMaintain a skilled appearance and attitude,
