As part of the Ferrous team, you'll work in a full-time permanent role with rotating shifts from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm. This position requires robust attention to detail and knowledge of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. You will inspect materials, coordinate movement within the yard, and communicate quality issues effectively daily.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality issues
• Ensure compliance with company and customer specifications
• Coordinate sorting and handling of yard materials
• Conduct daily quality and site checks efficiently
• Direct truck movements to safe locations
Requirements:
• Experience in materials inspection preferred
• Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment
• Ability to lift heavy objects regularly
• Proficient in data entry and record keeping
