Pre-Flight Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Pre-Flight Aircraft Maintenance Technician Permanent

AAA Canada is looking for several Pre-Flight Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMEs) to join its team.

Responsibilities

- Install and repair mechanical components;
- Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems;
- Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight controls, etc.);
- Prepare aircraft for flight operations (refueling, daily inspections);
- Participate in engine and APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) testing;
- Carry out modifications in accordance with Service Bulletins while complying with industry standards;
- May be required to work in a noisy environment and in the presence of dust;
- Participate in the Continuous Improvement Program (SAE);
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

You have a college or vocational education:

- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in Aircraft Maintenance, or an equivalent aircraft maintenance diploma recognized by the Ministry of Immigration and Cultural Communities (MICC);
- AME license, Class M2 (B1) or B1 (B2), and a High School Diploma (DES);
- Five (5)



years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer/Mechanic;
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals;
- Flexibility to work various shifts;
- Bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken, is considered a strong asset for communication within the client's multilingual workplace and for technical documentation.

Required Experience

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
