As a Planning Assistant in the Strategic Priorities Office, you'll contribute to impactful initiatives that advance the Squamish Nation's vision and Generational Plan. Collaborate with the Integrated Development Strategy and Planning & Capital Projects Teams, providing critical administrative support, developing scopes of work, and overseeing project logistics. Your role will ensure strategic priorities come to fruition while strengthening community well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to the Executive Lead • Coordinate meetings and manage documentation for projects • Liaise with various stakeholders and community members • Oversee project tracking and report preparation • Assist in procurement and develop RFPs and tenders
Requirements: • Diploma in Planning, Housing, or related field • 2–3 years of project coordination experience • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools • Robust communication and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw culture is a plus
