Based in Ontario or Halifax, Kleinschmidt seeks a Senior Structural Engineer with a passion for mentoring and a minimum of 10 years in structural engineering.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams and leverage your knowledge in concrete and steel structures, especially for hydroelectric designs. A thorough understanding of relevant codes and software will support your work in this role. Key Responsibilities:
Manage engineering projects and client interactions
Perform technical design for water resources and hydroelectric projects
Guide project teams,
including junior engineers and drafters
Ensure compliance with engineering codes and standards
Develop long-lasting client relationships through effective communication Requirements:
Licensed Skilled Engineer with BS, BSc, or BEng in Civil Engineering
At least 10 years of experience in structural engineering
Familiarity with regulatory processes in engineering
Experience with structural modeling software
