Exciting chance for a Cost Specialist at Woodfibre Management Ltd. in the LNG Project based near Squamish, BC.
Your role will focus on subcontractor cost validation and compliance with T&M; contracts. We are in search of a meticulous Cost Specialist with at least 5 years of experience in cost engineering or quantity surveying. You will work alongside the project controls team to ensure that all costs are accurately tracked and reported. This includes validating subcontractor submissions and ensuring adherence to contractual standards across various projects in Canada. Key Responsibilities:
Validate subcontractor cost submissions comprehensively
Monitor costs against budget and project plans
Ensure compliance with contractual invoices and terms
Create cost reports for stakeholders and project reviews
Maintain effective communication with project teams Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
Minimum of 5 years in cost engineering
Understanding of construction cost norms in Canada
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost management software
