Lead treasury services at Ontario Power Generation (OPG) as a Senior Financial Advisor. This position emphasizes strategic financial support while working from Oshawa and Toronto.
Your role will encompass guiding OPG’s treasury operation activities, focusing on liquidity management and cash resource effectiveness. You’ll collaborate closely with various business units, using your extensive knowledge in accounting and investment principles to support critical decision-making processes within the Corporate Treasury Group. Strategic insights from this role will directly influence the overall financial health of OPG. Key Responsibilities:
Manage liquidity and short-term borrowing initiatives
Establish and maintain banking service relationships
Conduct credit assessments and manage reporting
Assist with project financing and related research
Execute ad-hoc reporting as necessary Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Financial or Business streams
Minimum of 8 years in corporate financing roles
Experience with Treasury instruments and policies
High proficiency in Excel, MS Access, and macros
