As the Centre Director, you fulfill a vital role in managing educational services under the supervision of the Assistant Director General.
Your responsibilities include liaising with community stakeholders, coordinating school operations, and mentoring staff to align with the Board's initiatives. This position plays a crucial role in organizational administration within the community. Key Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce Board policies locally
Act as the liaison between the Board and community
Supervise facilities including school and residences
Manage employee performance and training
Oversee all Board-related activities in the community Requirements:
Relevant undergraduate degree or sufficient experience
Three years in administration or education
Ten years as a resident of an Inuit community
Required fluency in Inuktitut and another language
Understanding of local education agreements is preferable Harness your administrative skills to further educational achievements as the Centre Director.
