Standard Bus Yukon is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer and Driver Trainer in Whitehorse to elevate safety standards within the organization. This position includes crucial leadership in driver training. As a Safety Officer and Driver Trainer, you will oversee the implementation of safety protocols and conduct comprehensive training sessions.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate robust leadership while managing incidents and promoting adherence to safety regulations. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities are required to ensure continuous improvement in both safety and customer service standards. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate safety meetings and arrange guest speakers
Conduct detailed incident investigations and documentation




Build a culture of safety through proactive relationships
Monitor compliance with safety rules and policies
Manage training sessions and road testing for candidates Requirements:
Hold a Class 2 license with B endorsement
Clean driver’s abstract and excellent driving skills
Experience in school bus operations is essential
Solid communication and public speaking skills
