The objective of the Physiotherapist is to provide safe and competent care through the application of professional knowledge, the technical aspects of professional practice and the demonstration of compassion, professionalism and respect.QUALIFICATIONSRegistered with the College of Physiotherapists of OntarioBachelors or Master's Degree in PhysiotherapyApplies knowledge, skills, judgment and competencies required for secure, independent and interprofessional practice by meeting professional practice standards as outlined by the College of Physiotherapists of OntarioExperience working in fast paced, acute care hospital settingApplies NH values and professional practice standards to patient/client centred care and serviceDemonstrated commitment to patient/client centred careDemonstrated ability to perform assessments, develop quality patient/client programming, and facilitate patient dischargesDemonstrated ability to support, explain, and instruct patients and their families in understanding the clinical procedures to facilitate optimum health statusEvidence of effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, judgment and decision-making skillsIntegrates reflection, critical thinking,
