This mechanic/technician performs preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment, using safe and effective methods to minimize downtime. The fleet includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.Qualifications & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.Previous mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment, or specialty lines such as generators, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas equipment.Valid Red Seal (Heavy Duty) is an asset.Knowledge & SkillsMechanical tool proficiency.Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a quick‑paced environment.Physical DemandsRequirement to bend, squat, crouch, reach, lift 50 pounds or more, and work indoors and outdoors as required.
