Join Metrolinx as a Project Coordinator to elevate GO Transit projects across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Ensure effective project delivery through expert coordination of design and construction. As part of the Capital Projects Group, this role is focused on supporting the Extensions department in managing various transit infrastructure initiatives.

You will oversee project compliance with established standards, collaborate with contractors and stakeholders, and ensure timely execution of all project components.

Your role is pivotal in facilitating explicit communication and effective workflows. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain compliance with project agreements and engineering standards
Review contractor work plans to minimize service impacts




Report on project expenditures and manage budgets
Coordinate tender specifications and assist in procurement processes
Conduct regular site visits and participate in safety meetings Requirements:
Educational background in Civil Engineering Technology
At least five years of relevant experience in transit projects
Familiarity with engineering principles and code requirements
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Valid Ontario “G” Driver’s Licence for site evaluations Strategically manage transit project coordination to enhance community transit solutions with Metrolinx.
