Join Passport Health as a Nurse Practitioner focused on travel health and patient safety. This role is centered on pre-travel assessments and customized health education. As a Travel Health Nurse Practitioner, you will assess clients’ health needs before international travel, providing critical education on health risks and medications.

You will collaborate closely with registered nurses to ensure seamless care and compliance with travel health guidelines. Client preparation for secure travels is your top priority in this position. Key Responsibilities:
Assess health and safety needs of international travelers
Educate clients on preventative therapies and vaccines
Review health histories using telephonic and video tools
Prescribe necessary medications and monitor outcomes
Document all client care in detail for quality assurance Requirements:
Current Nurse Practitioner license in Alberta
Required certifications for prescribing medications
Excellent analytical and communication abilities
Experience with technology and paperwork
Must be available for 8 hours per week (4-hour shifts) Support, educate, and empower clients at Passport Health through comprehensive travel health consultations.
