Lead the Council's Planning Policy and Strategy Group in delivering the next Local Plan. Direct two teams focused on Jobs, Homes, and Planning Research to meet strategic objectives. As the Group Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of the Council’s Development Plan.

You'll ensure team efficiency while promoting high service standards and effective budget management. Your leadership will cultivate a valuable working workplace, emphasizing performance management and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
Direct two teams focused on strategic land-use planning
Manage budget allocation, monitoring, and control
Oversee staff development and promote improvement culture




Evaluate service delivery against council objectives
