Schools as a Part Time Speech Language Assistant. This role focuses on providing essential support for children facing speech-language challenges, working closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist. The assistant will be part of a dedicated trans-disciplinary team, aimed at delivering speech-language interventions at the Early Learning, Elementary, and Junior High levels.

The position involves travel to other sites in Morinville as needed and is temporary, commencing as soon as possible until December 18, 2026, with potential for extension. Key Responsibilities:
Support speech-language interventions directed by the Speech-Language Pathologist
Engage and assist children with speech challenges actively




Implement program plans tailored to individual needs
Collect and document progress in speech and language skills
Manage challenging behaviors calmly and positively Requirements:
Completion of a Speech-Language Assistant Program
Experience working with children with speech-language difficulties
Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
