We are looking for an experienced and reliable Part time Optical Edger / Lab Technician to join our team at a busy and well-established optometry clinic and optical store in Coquitlam.
Responsibilities:
Accurately edge and fit prescription lenses into frames
Perform lens measurements, verification, and quality control
Mount and adjust lenses according to prescription and frame specifications
Make minor frame adjustments and repairs
Ensure all completed eyewear meets quality standards
Maintain and organize lab equipment and supplies
Work closely with optician and the optical team to ensure timely completion of orders
Qualifications:
Previous optical edging/lab experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Positive organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Optical/eyewear industry experience is preferred
Position: Part-Time
Location: Coquitlam, BC
Schedule: Versatile; approximately 4 hours per week to begin
Compensation: based on experience
