QUALIFICATIONS - Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current CPR
Successful completion of Medication Administration and Asepsis Courses
Competencies in initiating IV Therapy
Valuable physical health
Demonstration of robust nursing practice, skill, and judgment
Above-average skills in physical assessments
Demonstrated critical thinking skills
Proven desire and ability to work in a collaborative (RPN/RN) team practice




Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, including superior verbal communication abilities
Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the College of Nurses and Hospital’s Codes of Conduct
Proven attendance record
Willing to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN) Incentive: This position may be eligible for the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN), which provides a $25,000 incentive to qualified nurses who commit to a two-year, full time employment term in an eligible health-care organization. Applicants must meet CCPN eligibility requirements, including holding a valid certificate of registration and not having been employed as a nurse in Ontario within the previous six months.
