Description Primary Duties
Provides consultation, analysis, evaluation and review of problems regarding methods and equipment, material handling, layout and material flow.
Provides alternative solutions to anticipated or actual technical related manufacturing problems.
Provides specification for recent equipment.
Generates time studies, charts and reports - Evaluates and implements projects that reduce cost, increase value and/or improves quality.
Works with health and safety to design process safeguards and improve team member safety.
Responsible for training on the process changes.
Provides assistance in trouble shooting equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production.
Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles and Minimum Controls.
Support all current model launch, PFMEA, Control Plan, and TS requirements - Adherence to the NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its' Values and Principles Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Mechanical or Electrical - 5 to 7 Experience working in a manufacturing setting, automotive experience is an asset - Interpersonal, verbal and writing skills are necessary
