The Lead Butcher/Meat Cutter is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the meat department while performing skilled butchering duties. The position ensures the preparation of high-quality meat products, compliance with food safety regulations, and productive department operations.

Salary: 36.92 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week

There is no option to work remotely. Main Duties - Supervise and coordinate the work of butchers and meat department staff.
Cut, trim, bone, grind, and prepare standard and specialty cuts of meat.
Prepare, package, label,



and display meat products for sale.
Inspect meat products to ensure quality, freshness, and compliance with food safety standards.
Receive, store, and maintain inventory of meat products and supplies.
Train staff in meat cutting techniques, equipment operation, and food safety procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
