Expected to manage safety, perform maintenance tasks,



and coordinate projects with management and external experts.Key accountabilitiesMaintain safety compliance with WorksafeBC regulations.Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs for vehicles and nursery systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting.Lead capital improvement projects and contractor activities, providing data‑driven insights for maintenance planning and budgeting.Drive operational excellence, set production targets, foster collaboration, and champion continuous improvement.QualificationsHigh school diploma.Valid driver’s license.Minimum 3‑year experience in maintenance, including carpentry and basic welding.Ability to work independently.Strong communication, collaboration, problem‑solving, sound judgment, and reasoning skills.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred qualificationsCertificates or training in electrical, pneumatic, heavy equipment, or welding and fabricating.Salary$30–$40 per hour, commensurate with experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
