We are looking for a Personal Support Worker in the Young Finch, Thornhill Areas - Flexible working hours - select your own shifts

Continuing education programs Job Summary The Personal Support Worker/Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services to meet the client’s needs.

Responsibilities - Meal preparation
Light housekeeping
Accompany clients on outings
Shopping and errands
Medication reminders
Ambulation and transporting clients
Provide companionship to clients
Ability to follow a care plan
Documentation and charting Qualifications - Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (e.g., foreign-trained nurse, nursing student after one year of schooling)
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Current Police Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Screen, or willingness to obtain one
Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Access to internet and mobile phone
Excellent support and teamwork skills
Dementia/Alzheimer's experience
Reliable and experienced
