Become an integral part of NETES in Winnipeg as an Instructor focusing on an Indigenous-centered Bachelor of Education program. Your experience will help shape the future of Indigenous educators and support adult learners in a culturally inclusive setting. NETES, in partnership with University College of the North, seeks skilled instructors dedicated to Indigenous education.
This role will involve lesson planning, fostering engaging classroom dynamics, and aligning instruction with Indigenous perspectives. You will play a crucial part in making education accessible and promoting success for Indigenous learners. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare engaging lesson plans and learning materials
Provide academic guidance and timely feedback
Assess student performance in a culturally relevant manner
Foster collaboration with faculty and community partners
Create supportive, inclusive learning settings Requirements:
Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 5 years teaching experience in Indigenous contexts
Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate or comparable
Explicit Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
Valid Class 5 Driver’s license for required travel Empower Indigenous students through transformative education approaches at NETES.
