The Health Compliance
Officer position is a vital part of the Continuing Care Homes Inspection Unit. Responsible for independent inspections, investigations, and compliance monitoring, you will assess adherence to the Continuing Care Act and associated regulations. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the safety and quality of care for Albertans in continuing care homes. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and investigations to ensure regulatory compliance
Identify risks and recommend corrective actions for providers
Provide regulatory guidance to service providers and stakeholders
Prepare accurate inspection and investigation reports
Build relationships with operators, residents, and healthcare specialists Requirements:
Degree in nursing or related field with 4 years of experience
Knowledge of health compliance and Alberta’s healthcare system
Ability to travel extensively throughout Alberta
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
