Support the Fort McKay community as a Health Care Aide, focusing on personal care for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This full time chance is ideal for compassionate and team-oriented individuals in Fort McKay, Alberta. In this role, reporting to the Riverside Care Facility Nursing Supervisor, your responsibilities include offering personal support and health monitoring.
You will engage in vital daily tasks such as aiding in personal hygiene, medication administration, and documenting care activities. A shift rotation of 7 days on, 7 days off provides a balanced work schedule. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personal hygiene and daily living assistance
Monitor health status and document care
Facilitate patient activities and transportation
Maintain cleanliness of care spaces and equipment
Ensure effective communication with patients and families Requirements:
Health Care Aide Certificate from an accredited program
Experience in convalescent or elderly care preferred
Valid BCLS-HCP certification necessary
Clean Driver’s Abstract and class 5 License
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector required Deliver compassionate care and support to the Fort McKay community as a Health Care Aide.
