Drive excellence in education by becoming the Executive Director of Provincially Operated Schools with Ontario’s Ministry of Education. This role emphasizes strategic leadership and stakeholder relationship building. As part of the Provincial and Demonstration Schools Branch, your expertise will shape education for Deaf, blind, and learning-disabled students across seven key locations.
Your impactful leadership will ensure quality service delivery while maintaining a focus on equity and inclusion within operational practices. Collaborating with a variety of stakeholders is essential for the success of this role. Key Responsibilities:
Steward operations of diverse educational facilities in Ontario
Enhance policy coherence for provincially operated schools
Guide a team in quality education provision and services
Build relationships with parents, unions, and district boards
Report crucial information to the Assistant Deputy Minister Requirements:
Extensive experience in educational leadership roles
Insight into special education and operational complexities
Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution
Track record of fostering equity and inclusion in schools
Knowledge of ASL is an asset for communication Take a leading role in supporting the educational journey of students with specialized needs across Ontario.
