Bengough Health Centre is seeking a Casual Emergency Medical Technician to enhance community care. This role includes responding to emergencies, assessments, and patient transport every shift. As a part of the ambulance department, you will respond to both emergency and non-emergent calls.
Candidates should possess a Primary Care Paramedic diploma and certifications such as Basic Life Support and International Trauma Life Support. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team while delivering critical care in a rural setting. Key Responsibilities:
Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls
Assess and treat ill or injured patients
Transport patients safely and efficiently
Communicate effectively with team members
Maintain accurate records and documentation Requirements:
Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
Valid Class 4 driver's license
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Registered with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics
Skills in interpersonal communication and writing Bring your emergency response skills to the Community Health Team at Bengough Health Centre.
