The Winnipeg Regional Health
Authority seeks an Indigenous Workforce Development Coordinator dedicated to building a more inclusive workforce. You will drive recruitment and implement strategies that attract First Nations, Métis, and Inuit professionals. This role intersects with various community sectors, ensuring cultural safety and anti-racism efforts in health services. Key Responsibilities:
Develop recruitment resources for Indigenous employees
Foster relationships with WRHA management and community sectors
Enhance awareness of healthcare careers for Indigenous job seekers
Promote WRHA’s positive public image and services
Collaborate on mentorship program development Requirements:
Minimum 3 years in recruitment or community development
Familiarity with Indigenous employment practices
Knowledge of health services and community outreach
Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or relevant field
Valid Manitoba driver’s license for travel Drive systemic change in healthcare by fostering Indigenous representation and community engagement in Winnipeg.
