Full-Time Painter – GCT Contracting Inc.

GCT Contracting is looking for a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented painter to join our growing team. We specialize in insurance restoration, residential renovations, and commercial construction throughout the Lower Mainland.

Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and masking
Apply primers, paints, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
Complete interior and exterior painting to a professional standard
Protect flooring, furniture, fixtures, and surrounding work areas
Perform drywall repairs and minor surface preparation as required
Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
Inspect completed work and complete touch-ups when necessary
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, trades, and customers

Qualifications:
Previous skilled painting experience is preferred




Experience with insurance restoration and residential renovations is an asset
Knowledge of proper surface preparation and paint application techniques
Spray-finishing experience is considered an asset
Comfortable using ladders, hand tools, and power tools
Solid attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation preferred
