Take on a pivotal role in coal production geology with EVR in the Elk Valley of British Columbia. This Geologist position focuses on coal quality control and collaboration with mine operations. Reporting to the Senior Geologist, this role supports critical coal recovery and quality assurance tasks.

You will participate in geological activities, including pit sampling and coal blending strategies. Ideal candidates have strong communication and organizational skills, enabling effective teamwork in a quick-paced setting. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct health and safety adherence programs
Work with Mine Operations to minimize coal loss
Collect geological and coal quality data during sampling
Assist in coal seam cleaning and stockpile management
Support geophysical logging for production drillholes Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or similar
Must register as GIT with EGBC
Previous experience in open-pit mining is a plus
Familiarity with geological databases and software preferred
