ME Law Professional Corporation is a Toronto-based litigation firm specializing in estate, real estate, and corporate/commercial disputes. Our practice focuses on complex civil litigation matters.
We are seeking a Litigation Associate with 3+ years experience to join our growing litigation group. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of civil litigation files and collaborate closely with senior counsel on complex matters.
Key Responsibilities
Manage litigation files from commencement through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, applications, affidavits, and factums
Conduct legal research and prepare written advocacy
Attend discoveries, case conferences, and motions
Assist in the preparation of matters for hearings and trial
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
Qualifications
3–6 years of civil litigation experience
Member in positive standing with the Law Society of Ontario
Solid knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
Excellent drafting, research, and advocacy skills
Ability to manage files independently and meet deadlines
Experience in estate, real estate, or commercial litigation is considered an asset
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $90,000 – $140,000, commensurate with experience
