Provide compassionate nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse in a part time capacity. Your focus will be on monitoring health and enhancing care for seniors in long-term facilities. In this role, you will ensure that care standards and protocols are followed.
Your responsibilities include assessing residents’ needs, implementing care plans, and maintaining effective communication with medical teams. You will play a crucial role in observing changes and recommending appropriate actions to promote well-being. Key Responsibilities:
Record residents’ vital signs and health statuses daily
Assist in assessing and updating individual care plans
Document and report any changes in residents’ conditions
Ensure adherence to infection control practices
Work closely with cognitively impaired residents Requirements:
Current competence certificate from an Approved Institution
Registered or eligible with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Experience in long-term care preferred
Robust listening and communication skills
