As a well established, local contracting company we are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our energetic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from residential to commercial builds, with a focus on craftsmanship and precision.
Duties
Construct, install, and repair frameworks, walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and cabinetry using hand tools and power tools.
Install drywall, and other finishes to meet project specifications.
Conduct repair work including to damaged structures or surfaces to restore them to their original condition.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Skills
Extensive experience with construction processes
Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, sanders).
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling or structural assembly.
Hourly wage negotiable, based on experience.
