School of Education is searching for a Tier II Canada Research Chair in School-Based Mental Health. This tenure-track position offers prospects for an emerging scholar to facilitate cooperative research focused on effective mental health practices within educational frameworks. You will enhance student wellbeing by investigating practical and equitable support systems. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research aligned with school mental health policies
Mentor and supervise students engaged in research
Develop multidisciplinary research collaborations
Publish impactful findings in high-quality journals
Engage with schools and communities for effective knowledge translation Requirements:
PhD in counselling or educational psychology
Demonstrated research capacity and publication success
Effective teaching experience at university level
Proven ability to secure external research grants
Less than 10 years of experience aligned with CRC guidelines Enhance educational practices through focused research on mental health systems and support in schools.
