Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize surfaces, and change linens to uphold hygiene standards
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing
Follow established safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe working environment
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks to the relevant department
Adhere to all health and safety regulations while executing daily responsibilities
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to maintain overall cleanliness
Qualifications
Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in commercial or hospitality settings
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work
Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is advantageous
