Take on a leadership role as a Pool Shift Supervisor with the City of Brooks. This position emphasizes lifeguarding, pool programming, and aquatics management within a vibrant community. The City of Brooks is seeking a Pool Shift Supervisor, either I, II, or III, in its Recreation Services Department.
This full time role, primarily based at the JBS Canada Centre, involves pool operations, maintenance, and supervising Lifeguards. Successful candidates will also instruct Red Cross and Life Saving courses alongside developing aquatic programs. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pool programming and operations
Supervise and instruct Lifeguards and staff
Conduct Red Cross and Life Saving Courses
Maintain cleanliness and safety of aquatic facilities
Assist in aquatic program development and implementation Requirements:
High School Diploma required
Relevant experience between six months and four years
National Lifeguard and relevant instructor certifications
Pool Operator Level 1 Certificate mandatory
WHMIS and SCBA training considered an asset Elevate community health and wellness through aquatic programming and supervision in Brooks.
