We are looking for a full-time, reliable CNC GibbsCAM Programmer / Afternoon Lead Hand. The successful candidate will be a team player, be well organized, and possess a high attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):
Setup and operate Haas/Fanuc CNC lathes and mills
Understand how to read & interpret mechanical drawings.
Have programming and G-code editing knowledge
Assist coworkers when asked for help
Inspect and measure finished products and verify the parts meet the drawing tolerances
Train staff to perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner
Report to machine shop manager
Key Competencies:
Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Able to produce accurate precision parts
Able to verify dimensions of machined parts
Experience with Cad/Cam programming and G-code editing
Experience with manual machining
Positive organization skills
Detail oriented
Mechanical aptitude
Safety conscious with safe work habits
Willingness to learn new skills
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience setting up, editing programs, and operating CNC mills and lathes equipped with FANUC or HAAS controls.
