Responsibilities
Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine the necessary repairs and restoration steps
Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to remove damaged panels, straighten frames, and replace parts
Perform automotive repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, and refinishing work with attention to detail
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during repairs
Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Conduct quality inspections on completed work to ensure it meets industry and dealership specifications
Keep detailed records of repair processes, parts used, and time spent on each vehicle
Experience
Dealership experience or prior auto body repair work highly preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment required for various repair tasks
Experience with automotive repair processes including dent removal, panel replacement, and refinishing
Mechanic experience or background in automotive maintenance is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
