JOB DESCRIPTION

Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming in-bakery experience. The role includes serving customers, handling transactions, maintaining attractive product displays, supporting bakery operations, and keeping the bakery clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and skilled manner.

Answer customer questions and recommend bakery products.

Serve, package, and handle bakery products appropriately.

Operate the POS/cash register and accurately process cash, debit, and credit-card transactions.

Merchandise, stock, and maintain bakery displays to ensure products are fresh, attractive, and available.

Promote specials, seasonal products, and marketing campaigns.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the customer area and work areas.

Assist the bakery and production team when required.

Follow food safety, sanitation, health and safety,



and company procedures.

Work collaboratively with team members to provide an excellent customer experience.

Assist with community initiatives and donation programs where applicable.

Skills and Qualifications:

Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude.

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.

Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Willingness to learn current skills.

Cash-handling and retail/customer-service experience are assets.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform occasional lifting and other physical tasks required in a bakery setting.

Pay: Up to $17.60 per hour
