Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures at the front desk
Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for patient appointments
Manage electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic to accurately document patient information and clinical notes
Assist optometrists during eye exams by performing preliminary tests and measurements
Educate patients on optical products, lens options, and basic eye health practices to support retail sales efforts
Coordinate appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and patient communications efficiently




Support pediatrics patients with gentle care and age-appropriate explanations to foster comfort and trust

Requirements
Prior experience working in a medical office environment or optical setting is highly preferred
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems like Epic or similar platforms
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care and general healthcare practices
Excellent patient care skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Experience at the front desk handling scheduling, billing, and customer service tasks
Basic understanding of optical products, retail sales, and sales techniques is a plus
Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including children in pediatric settings
