Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop digital radiographs (X-rays), ensuring accuracy and patient safety
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary advice
Assist in applying fluoride treatments and sealants to protect against cavities
Review medical histories and update patient records accurately using dental management software such as Dentrix
Support the dental team during procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring sterilization protocols are followed
Provide compassionate care to Pediatric and Geriatric Patients
Communicate effectively with patients to ensure understanding
Maintain a clean, organized treatment area while adhering to all health and safety regulations
Skills
Proficiency with our dental practice management software like Tracker for scheduling, record keeping is an asset, but will be trained
Robust customer service skills to create a positive patient experience from check-in to checkout
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate documentation and communication
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
