About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Class 1 Winch Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a winch truck to load, transport, and unload heavy equipment and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires robust technical driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities
Operate a Class 1 winch truck to transport heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites
Safely load and unload equipment using winch systems
Secure loads in compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
Complete required paperwork, logbooks, and electronic logging device (ELD) entries accurately
Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel
Perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly




Follow all provincial/state and federal transportation laws and safety standards

Qualifications
Valid Class 1 (CDL) Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract
Minimum 2–3 years of commercial driving experience (winch truck experience preferred)
Experience hauling heavy equipment (oilfield, construction, or industrial equipment considered an asset)
Strong understanding of load securement regulations
Ability to work independently and in varying weather conditions
Physically fit and capable of handling chains, binders, and winch operations
Safety tickets ( H2S, First Aid, WHMIS, TDG,CSO) required

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $38.00-$46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week
